The following checklist is to assist you when moving.

_____ Water softener
_____ Laundry
_____ Milk
_____ Bakery
_____ Newspaper
_____ Lawn
_____ Diapers
_____ Garbage collection
_____ Pick up dry cleaning, laundry, shoes at repair shop
_____ Defrost refrigerator, arrange for serviceman to get appliances ready
for move
_____ Cancel homeowners insurance
_____ Review check stubs for other services to be stopped
_____ Get refunds of any deposits made
_____ Get transcript of children's grades
_____ Letter of introduction to new place of worship
_____ Get credit references
_____ Buy travelers checks to cover expenses until you get to a bank
_____ Return library books
_____ Return other borrowed items
_____ Round up things borrowed from you
_____ Notify local post office of forwarding address
_____ Make sure insurance on personal possessions is in force during and
after move
_____ Get medical records of X-rays, shots, eyeglass prescriptions
_____ Transfer bank account; empty safety deposit box, if leaving town

_____ Assemble a moving kit to take with you (hammer, nails, pliers, masking

_____ Make arrangements for meals
_____ Take old telephone book for names and addresses
