The Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning
The
1999 Land Use element of the Maple Grove Comprehensive Plan addresses
the future pattern of land use and the staging of municipal utility and
street improvements. It includes an analysis of conditions, a summary
of major planning issues, and guidelines on numerous related subjects.
This plan was prepared in 1998 under the direction of a broad-based committee
of citizens appointed by the City Council. The planning process concentrated
on the undeveloped properties in the western part of the community, mostly
outside the 1998 Metropolitan Urban Service Area boundary.
